Sadoff Iron & Metal Announces Expanded Services and Facilities

Company will reopen Oshkosh location and offer electronics recycling at all facilities

Oshkosh, Wis. (Aug. 10, 2015) – In an effort to continually provide excellent service to customers, Sadoff Iron & Metal will reopen a recycling center in Oshkosh and offer electronics recycling in all eight facilities throughout Wisconsin and Nebraska.

“Sadoff strives to position itself as the customer’s preferred choice when it comes to recycling,” said Jason Lasky, Vice President of Sadoff Iron & Metal. “By making these changes, we continue to ensure excellent service and value to our customers, encourage responsible waste management at all our locations, and remain the trusted choice in recycling in Northeast Wisconsin.”

Sadoff Reopens Oshkosh Recycling Facility

Sadoff Iron & Metal has announced their Oshkosh scrap metal recycling center will reopen on Monday, Aug. 10. The company’s return to Oshkosh once again gives community members the choice to recycle scrap metal and other accepted recyclable materials.

A first for the area, the Oshkosh facility will feature a unique drive through experience for the comfort of customers bringing in their materials.  Vehicles will be able to drive through the entire building offering protection form the elements during transactions; however, some larger vehicles, such as semis, will be excluded from this option due to size constraints and will utilize the truck scale located in their recycling yard.

Customers will also receive instant visual weight verification or scale readouts of their materials to ensure accuracy.

“Oshkosh again has a choice,” said Lasky. “For many of us at Sadoff, Oshkosh is our home, so we want to make sure the ability to recycle materials properly and receive fair value for doing so is available. Not only do we focus on simple and responsible recycling, but we support our local communities, too.”

The facility, located at 36 E. 10th Ave. in Oshkosh, will be open weekly from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m.-Noon on Saturdays.

For questions regarding the reopened facility and what materials are accepted for recycling, customers can call the Oshkosh recycling center at 920-232-7373.
