What makes our services worthy of an award? At our core, we are a family-owned business, and we have been for over 70 years. We began in the scrap metal business. It was many years ago now, but eventually, we realized the value of recycling electronics.

It wasn’t just something that Nebraska needed. It was something that a lot of recyclers weren’t even providing. Why? Recycling electronics is difficult, managing the second-hand electronics and electronic-materials markets takes care, and we knew we would also have to build awareness.

If we are being frank, the first two aspects of that equation were difficult to manage, but it has some similarities to the scrap metal business that we had already achieved so much with. It didn’t scare us. Building awareness was going to be the tough piece. That’s where wonderful organizations like the Nebraska Recycling Council come in.

What is the Nebraska Recycling Council?

The Nebraska Recycling Council or NRC, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to maximize both the economic and environmental benefits of recycling and resource recovery right here in Nebraska. At Sadoff, we are a proud member of the NRC.

For our efforts throughout the state of Nebraska, the NRC sought to bestow on us the coveted award of 2022 Member of the Year. We are sharing the spotlight with several other worthy members that won awards in other respected categories as well, but we couldn’t be more pleased to achieve in this competitive category.
