E-Scrap 2026 and E-Waste World Expo: Book Time With Sadoff Before You Travel

20
Oct

Our team will attend both major industry events in late October. Four people will be in New Orleans for E-Scrap 2026 (October 26–28), and two in Atlanta for E-Waste World Expo North America (October 28–29). If you’ll be at either event, email us now to schedule time before anyone boards a plane.

This is a meeting request, not a booth announcement. If you work in enterprise IT, facilities, or procurement and are deciding what to do with retired hardware, a scheduled conversation with the right person on our team is more valuable than a hallway handshake.

Why these two events?

They represent different environments with distinct conversations, hence our two trips.

– E-Scrap Conference, produced by Resource Recycling, Inc., is the established North American gathering for electronics recycling and ITAD professionals: processors, refurbishers, and asset managers. Runs October 26–28 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. Details on the E-Scrap Conference registration page.

– E-Waste World Expo North America, organized by Trans-World Events Ltd., runs October 28–29 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. Co-located with Critical Minerals Expo and Battery Recycling Expo – one free ticket covers all three events. The audience leans toward materials recovery and the battery sector. Details on the E-Waste World Expo North America event page.

The events overlap on Wednesday, October 28, so our team is split between cities: one group in New Orleans, another in Atlanta. Names and emails are listed below.

What we want to discuss

We’re not arriving with a pitch. We’d rather hear about your challenges. Conversation starters:

– Do you have a decommissioning project that keeps getting delayed?

– Are retired mobile devices sitting in drawers with no cost assessment?

– Are lithium battery stockpiles becoming a storage issue?

– Planning a hardware refresh and wondering if remarketing old equipment could offset costs?

These are easier to scope face-to-face than via lengthy email threads, as solutions depend on equipment location, tracking methods, and approvers. No finished plan or purchase order is needed – a rough idea of assets, locations, and timelines suffices for a productive discussion.

Why we aren’t hosting a booth

This is intentional. Booths catch passersby; our work involves long-term decommissioning projects, serialized chain of custody, and multi-site asset recovery – none of which sells in a 4-minute chat between sessions.

We prefer 8 substantive meetings over 200 badge scans. Six of us are traveling to two cities to meet fewer but more relevant contacts – advance booking makes this possible.

Book time with our team

Email the contact at your target event. Describe what you’re retiring/planning, number of sites involved, and approximate timeline. We’ll reply with available times. Calendars fill fast during event week – the sooner you write, the better your time slot options.
